“Strength does not come from winning! Your struggles develop your strengths”~Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I was reading through a certain piece this morning when I came across this quote and it sunk in my mind and kept ringing in my head over and over again. I thought to write and share something inspiring about strength. I’m sure it’ll sink into you too…Come with me..
Strength I’d say is the inner-will, the source of power from where you draw energy to keep you going. It is the quality of being/staying strong both physically and mentally. It is following through with your dreams even though you experience bumps along the way.
Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, how much longer you can wait, etc. Remember that a true hero is measured by the strength of his heart.
Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. No one’s got it all put together. Don’t think everyone’s got a perfect life but you. We all face one challenge or the other once in a while, what matters is your ability to pull through it.
When life gives you a lemon like they say, make a lemonade and gulp the whole content cheerfully. There’s this proverb I love, I actually don’t know who wrote it but it simply implies there’s always light at the end of the tunnel even when you think it’s over. “just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly“. You are actually stronger than you think you are!
You need every experience through your struggle to shape your life positively. Most often, your lifting comes through this. Be confident, never quit on yourself, believe in yourself and your abilities, one day, perhaps just one minute, that life-changing miracle will happen!
Remember, there has to be rain to have a rainbow.
